Conceptual Design

The dog-trot style originated as two log cabins connected through a breezeway. One was used for cooking and dining while the other as a private living area. Today, priorities are a little different and Traza Design took this traditional style and brought it into the 21 century. In this layout, the main space houses the kitchen, living room, dining room, and master suite. Across the breezeway is a flexible space that can be reconfigured as an in-law suite, a studio space, or a guest suite. Some clients have asked to see the master suite as the isolated element for additional privacy.
